POV: Italy Edition! The pantheon is nearly 2000 years old, built between 118- 25 AD and then later transformed into a church in the 7th century. The oculus which is the hole at the centre of the pantheon serves as a light from within but fun fact: when it rains the structure is never flooded. Ancient Roman engineers designed the floors on an angle with several drains spread out across the base. The water flows out as quickly as it flows in.
